At 29Kgs this is a bit of a beast, but it's great at making mulch or compost from your garden waste! So it's heavy and quite big, BUT it has wheels so it's possible to transport over short distances. It takes two people to easily lift into a car. You might not be allowed to take it on the bus!

PREPARATION
Do not use it if it's raining, or in wet/damp conditions.
Wear PPE (eyes, ears and hands).
Avoid wearing loose fitting clothes.
Operate the machine in open space, on a firm, level surface, but not on a paved or gravel surface where ejected material could cause injury.
Before starting, check all screws, nuts, bolts, and other fasteners are properly secured, that guards and screens are in place, and look into the feed chamber to check that it's empty!

OPERATION
Only feed in vegetation that is STILL GREEN e.g. leaves, twigs, and branches up to about 25mm (1 inch) diameter, NOT hardwood branches like beach or oak.
Keep children and bystanders a safe distance in case any bits of wood fly out at high speed.
Keep your face and body away from the feed intake opening.
Do not allow hands or any other part of the body or clothing inside the feeding chamber, or discharge chute.
Always stand clear of the discharge zone.
If the machine starts making any unusual noise or vibration, please report when returning to ETL.
If the machine becomes clogged, switch off and disconnect from supply before clearing debris.
Don't let the debris pile up so much that it obstructs the outlet, and keep the power cable away from the debris.
Switch off when not in attendance.

CLEAN UP WHEN FINISHED
When you're finished, please clean out the insides of the machine so there's no damp debris inside to cause rusting and deterioration. Do this by loosening the 3 black plastic knobs and lifting off the tubular top half.
