A general purpose saw with a long flexible blade used for cross cutting timber. It has medium size teeth and gives a roughish finish.

Crosscut teeth are designed for cutting across the grain of the wood. (plain tooth)
SAFETY INFORMATION & PPE
- Safety glasses – Essential Safety glasses, ear protection and other PPE are available for a suggested donation at check out.
- Pencil, Ruler, Set Square – Essential to mark your workpiece. Measure twice, cut once!
- Clamps – Recommended to hold your work securely in place and prevent it from moving.
- Workbench and/or trestles – Useful to not break your back.

HOW TO USE IT
Use a steel ruler to get an accurate measurement with a pencil. Use a set square to make a line at a right angle to the edge of your piece of wood. Clamp your work securely to your workbench before you begin sawing.
Bear in mind that some saws cut on the forward stroke and others cut on the backward stroke, depending on which way the teeth are facing. Always make sure the teeth are the right way round for your saw when you are fitting a new blade.
