An electric lawn mower is used to cut grass on a regularly maintained lawn.
Not suitable for use on rough or uneven grass, consider using a strimmer if your lawn has become too unruly, or the lawn is on a steep slope.

WHAT IT DOES
This is a cordless, 18v battery powered mower, perfect for those back gardens with no electricity. It's safer, lighter, and easier to maintain than a petrol mower, and represents ETLs wish to move away from petrol powered tools. This mower was paid for by our yard sale in October 2021.

HOW TO USE IT
Mowing the lawn is easier and faster when using a systematic approach, go up and down the lawn in rows, or around the outside and work your way towards the middle.
Before starting, clear the lawn of debris (especially dog mess!) and check for wildlife.
Avoid using an electric lawnmower when it’s raining or the grass is wet or muddy, it won’t be as effective.
If there’s a step or drop at the edge of the lawn, avoid letting the front of the lawn mower tip over the edge, as this can damage the blades.
If you need to clear the blades, always disconnect the power first, then carefully tip the lawn mower onto the sides and remove any build up of cut grass.
Adjusting the height setting: You can set the height of the blades, which allows you to choose the length you want to cut your grass to.
Most electric lawn mowers will come with a catcher to collect the grass cuttings that will need emptying regularly.
