***OUR LAST CARPET CLEANERS WERE BROKEN THROUGH MISUSE - PLEASE READ THIS TOOL DESCRIPTION, WATCH THE LINKED VIDEOS, AND REFER TO THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USE!***

UPDATE - PLEASE PACK THE BOX WITH THE BLUE VACCUM UNIT AT THE BOTTOM - PARTS HAVE BEEN BROKEN WHEN IT HAS BEEN PUT ON TOP OF THEM.

This Henry Wash works by spraying cleaning fluid and COLD water from a pressure hose, and sucking it up through the vacuum hose.  It is for use on carpets and hard floors, and is not a regular vacuum so please don’t use it as a hoover. You should use 40ml of Wash and Revive solution for regular washing, or 80ml for heavily soiled carpets.  ETL does not provide the carpet cleaning solution.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & TOP TIPS

We have recorded two videos to help you get started on your journey towards a cleaner carpet, linked below.  Please watch them before setting off.  They take a combined total of 4 mins to watch and will save you lots of time in the long run.

Part 1

Part 2

Please remember to use COLD WATER ONLY in your donut bucket, and dispose of your dirty water down the toilet.

  • If you find your carpet is particularly wet in one area (where there was a heavy mark for example), you can hoover the water out of it.  The best way to do this without straining the machine is to turn the water sprayer off using the button, rather than just not pulling the trigger.

  • As this is a wet vacuum, you can use it to unblock sinks by placing the vacuum tube over a blocked plughole

  • The stair cleaning attachment has it’s own short pressure hose and goes directly into the trigger handle, to give you better control on the stairs

  • Use the hose clips to clip your pressure hose in, and ovid getting tangled

  • You may need to change the water - you will run out of spray and fill up with waste water at the same rate.  The pitch of the sprayer will change as you are running out.

CLEANING UP

We don’t have the capacity or the ability to clean the Henry Wash at our tool library, so if you bring it back dirty we will charge you a fine.  To avoid this, and more importantly be good ETL members, you can clean out any attachments you have used and the vacuum hose by sucking clean water through the system.  Empty the pressure hose by spraying until nothing comes out (if you empty the donut first or lift the black vacuum unit out of the donut, this will be a lot quicker).  Give everything a quick rinse and let it dry.  Everyone is happy!
