WHAT IT DOES

It emits a steady stream of hot air that can be used mainly to remove paint, dry surfaces, shape plastics, and apply protective covering to electric wires.
This tool is not designed for use on metal. If you want to shape or join metal, you will need specialised metal work tools.
BOSCH heat gum. Gets really hot 500 Celsius. And 450 l/min airflow. DON'T dry your hair with this tool.
SAFETY INFORMATION & PPE

Do not touch the hot tip of the heat gun. It will remain hot enough to harm for a good few minutes after use.

When putting down the tool on a workspace after use, ensure that the tip is pointed upwards and away from any surfaces to prevent damage.
  • Heat Safe Work GlovesRecommended if likely to touch the workpiece whilst still hot.
  • Mask & VentilationRecommended if used on plastic or paint there might be a release of harmful chemicals.
  • Safety glassesRecommended if you will be removing paint, as hot flakes might fly up in the air.

  • Hand scrapersUseful for removing old paint.

HOW TO USE IT

Keep the heat gun about 2 to 5 cm away from the object you are trying to heat up at all times.
Move the heat gun back and forth slowly over the area that needs to be heated.
Stay alert for any smells or changes in appearance that might indicate signs of burning or deformations of the material.
