WHAT IT DOES

A saw with a rigid metal frame and smaller teeth used to cut metal and plastic.
The blade can be positioned with the teeth facing outwards, or in towards the frame of the saw.This allows for the saw to get into smaller places.
Some hacksaws also have a nut that allows you to alter the tension of the blade.

HOW TO USE IT

Using both hands, saw into your material with long strokes and even tension. Avoid pressing down as you saw, as this can cause the saw to jump.
Bear in mind that some saws cut on the forward stroke and others cut on the backward stroke, depending on which way the teeth are facing. Make sure the teeth are the right way round for your saw when you are fitting a new blade.
