Drywall/hacksaw (ETL0106) Check Availability

WHAT IT DOES

Different hand saws can be used to cut wood, metals, plastics, and plasterboard of different thicknesses.  Do you need a hand saw or a power saw?  This may depend on how much cutting you need to do, material, accuracy needed etc.

Drywall Saw

Used to cut holes in plasterboard/drywall, also known as jab saw. Drywall saw blades usually have between 6 and 8 TPI. Always make sure the teeth are the right way round for your saw when you are fitting a new blade.

Info about blades - You need the right blade to get the best results.  Please note, we can’t guarantee the state of the blade that’s in the saw when you borrow it but blades are replaceable and cheap (for example, at your local Screwfix).

HOW TO USE IT
